3 years of transition diet

In these days of August 2010 about 3 years are spent since my encounter with the Mucusless Diet Healing System of the Professor Arnold Ehret. Durind these years I have applied more or less diligently the transition diet toward the building of a body less engrossed with mucus, waste and toxin deposits. The energy that I have got in return is much more than I will be waiting.
The last year I adopted only fruit diet during the lunch (no more breakfast or sometimes a glass of some juice), and raw vegetable and little cooked vegetable during the evening. I strive to eliminate completely cooked vegetables and beans.
I noticed that when elimination accelerate thanks to a good physical exercise (mainly cycling or sometimes swimming) and more fruit in the diet, I crave for 'wrong food' (as Ehret says at pag.116) once my favorite like cheese, black bread, potatoes, biscuits and chocolate. Too often in the last months during my dinner, after my tomatoes salad I give up my will and eat these much desired mucus leading food. This path is not easy, but a very good battleground for developing my will... so, keep on, is the rule, never give up!
A very good habit I have established since 1 and a half year are the daily aenemas (thanks to a suggestion of the "Cincinnati Guys"). These morning aenemas help me to quickly free the last part of my intestine, feeling great sensation of freedom and lightness at the highest levels that last all day long. Such cleaning often leads me to implement an all day fast without much effort.
I keep on trying to resist every day the battle of goods against the bad habits...but at the end I think time is come to eat only fruit.
This 3 year August anniversary has to be a good month to start the last challenge.

The purpose of eating

Following I report a beautiful thought according to the Mucusless Diet Healing System of Arnold Ehret by a post of doc. Spira an american fruitarian in the Arnold Ehret's italian forum.

"Ehret proposes that the body is an air-gas engine that runs off of oxygen. Consequently, we are all breathaireans irregardless of what we consume. Given this, what is the purpose of eating? For most of us, if we were to stop eating for too long we would die. But would we die from malnutrition or would we essentially drown in our own waste/mucus? If one person can fast for a month without experiencing mucus elimination then we must consider what is going on physiologically. It would stand to reason that the cleaner and less obstructed the body is, the longer a person can 'productively' fast. Here, I use ‘productively’ to refer to a fast where the body is becoming cleaner with every breath. When someone is not using a rational methodology to fast, or is too obstructed, the he or she may be in danger of drowning in their own dross. Why? Because when the intake of food stops the body begins to loosen and throw off waste. If there is too much waste loosened up blood cannot receive sufficient oxygen. On the other hand, if there is not waste to be thrown off there is no longer a need to eat. Consequently, it would stand to reason that we eat only for the purpose of eliminating waste and not to accumulate or replenish proteins and vitamins.
I understand how hard it is for people in our condition to understand this without having lived it. We are in such a morbid situation it is hard for us to fathom going a year without food, much less existing without food all together. I myself did not truly realize that I was an air-gas engine until I witnessed a man effortlessly fast for 9 1/2 months. There was still doubt until I investigated myself by fasting for six months. As always, I am not saying that people need to be trying to achieve these kinds of fasts now. I would much rather hear about people being consistent with their transitions and enemas. At this point striving to become mucusless for a decade or two is more rational than trying to fast or do a strict fruit diet with a body that is not clean enough to endure it. So many people try to skip over the transition only to encounter terrible falls that scare them away from Ehret forever. It is important to try and use logical thinking to trace your way back to Breathaireanism. If you can fast for a day then it is possible to fast for a week, then a year, and so on. But this level of fasting will come naturally as the body gets cleaner and cleaner.
It is important to understand our physiological hierarchy to put the transition into perspective. Theoretically, the order of an ideal physiological hierarchy would be as follows: the cleanest body can comfortably exist on air alone for long periods of time. If you can exist on air for long periods of time then you should have been able to exist on fruit juice and air comfortably for long periods. If you can exist on fruit juice and air then you should have been able to exist on raw fruit comfortably for extended periods. If you can tolerate raw fruits then you should have been able to exist comfortably on raw mucusless fruits and green-leaf vegetables. If you can do this then you should have been able to exist on a combination of cooked and raw starchless fruits and vegetables. If you can eat cooked and raw starchless vegetables then you have probably come from a mucus-forming diet that includes any number of the following: rice, nuts, grains, legumes, starches, dairy, and meats. Think about the length of the transition technically. One week of eating 100% mucusless should turn into one month, then one year, etc. Fasting one day a week can evolve to fasting every other month to every other year. Breathaireanism is the logical conclusion of Ehret’s proposition, however the time that it will take to transition is undetermined. Ultimately, it will take decades of being mucus-free to become clean enough to stop eating."

EFFORT TO CHANGE

From today on I will strive to change my bad habits with good ones.
As my Guru said the will power will strengthened if it will be used steadily towards good habits.
Will power enforce itself.
Never put off till tomorrow what you can do today!
About two years ago, end of July 2007, I start my transition diet toward fruitarianism. I followed Arnold Ehret indication as in his book The Mucusless Diet Healing System. After weeks and months the benefit of this method was progressively evident in an unprecedent vitality. power and lightness of the body. Also the mind and the spirit benefit from these changes. Now, inspired by some more advanced people, I decide to start eating only fruits. I made a 9 days only fruits diet last month to experiment my general state and I was very good. When I feel some weakeness I eat more dry fruits. Last week I lost myself in a "normal eating". I hope this was the last deviation from my way. The spirit is ready but the flesh sometimes is weak!
The secret is constantly to back on track continuously every time you are wrong. Continuously and steadfast until the goal is realized.
